Hello, hello my lovely creatures and welcome to the second Favs of the Month post of 2018!

February was such a busy month for me, with thesis updates, Spanish classes, new projects at work, WIP updates, collaborations with fantastic people, movies, musicals, festivals and so much more!

So, sit back comfortably and enjoy my favourite things for the month of February! 💜

February Favs 2018

Starting with one of the most fun decisions I made at the beginning of February, I started my 3-month pre-paid subscription for FairyLoot, because you know me… I can’t resist to good books, bookish items and a touch of fairy dust! 🧚🏻‍♀️

The theme for March is Memorable Moments and it is perfect for the fans of The Lord of the RingsHarry PotterGame of Thrones and Shadowhunters, while April’s theme is Whimsical Journeys and it is perfect for the fans of NarniaThe HobbitThe Darkest Minds and Percy Jackson!

For those very few of you who don’t know, FairyLoot is a monthly subscription box in which every month you receive a new release, as well as a bunch of bookish items revolving to a specific theme. And judging from the themes up above, the dearest fairies of FairyLoot are doing a fantastic job!

Moving on to the movies I watched this month, those were The To Do ListFallenPitch Perfect 3 and 50 Shades Freed. My least favourite was BY FAR 50 Shades Freed, while the one I enjoyed the most was Pitch Perfect 3 because duh… Musical!

And speaking of musicals, I went to watch Mamma Mia! with two of my very closest friends and we had a fabulous time!

I’m not always in for musicals that are too long, but Mamma Mia! was super fun and perky and happy, and time literally flew by without even noticing it!

If you haven’t watch it yet, I highly, highly recommend it, folks!

Also, because I didn’t purchase any books during February, I decided to order two phone cases from Casetify because they had an amazing discount and well, I couldn’t say no! Not when one of them features an ACOTAR scene and the other is full of unicorns! 🦄

Casetify has an extremely big variety of mobile cases, for many different different brands, they ship FOR FREE GLOBALLY and you can also create your own cases with pics and photos of your own!

Another fantastic thing during the month of February was the Collab of Love, with my dearest Christine Bottas and Nikki Allegretti. You guys seemed to love this post and so we may do something similar during the upcoming months. Only this time, I suggest you don’t expect that power of love to fill the post. Stay tuned to find out more, I suppose…

Speaking of love though, since we didn’t manage to go out on Valentine’s Day, Apo and I had a pre-Valentine’s Day dinner date, which was equally romantic and fun! I still can’t believe it myself sometimes that it’s been three and a half years since we started dating and been in a relationship with him; it always seems like yesterday!

But, isn’t this the best part of a relationship; to feel like you’re falling over and over again in love with the person you’re with?

Yummy, isn’t it?

That’s not all, though… Two weeks ago, there was a Coffee & Brunch Festival at TIF Helexpo and I couldn’t miss it for the world! Coffee AND brunch? That’s just like heaven to me!

A friend of mine is the sous chef at one of the most prestigious hotels here in Thessaloniki and OF COURSE he was there, too!

If you happen to visit my hometown, don’t forget to visit The Excelsior hotel and Be*!

Other than that, Kingston University Press sent me the manuscript for its second anthology and I’m pleased to tell you that the first two chapters of my current WIP will be published there!

Which reminds me that… I managed to reach my 50k words in February and also, exceed it! My next goal is to have approximately 75k by March 15th, which is why my TBR list will be more humble this month.

Considering, as well, the fact that I’m still working with my lovely #DOVES for the promotion of Ace of Shades, by Amanda Foody, I think I made the right decision to simply read only 5 books this month:

  1. Furyborn, by Claire Legrand
  2. Clockwork Prince, by Cassandra Claire
  3. Clockwork Princess, by Cassandra Claire
  4. Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, by J. K. Rowling
  5. Spirit Bound, by Richelle Mead

As I’ve mentioned, I’ve been lucky enough to be selected by Amanda Foody for the promotion of her upcoming novel, and Amanda was kind enough to send me some amazing goodies!

So, that was all for February, my dears!

How was your month? Did you do anything special? What are your plans for March?

I hope you guys enjoyed this post! Thank you all for being here once again! It means the world and I’m sure you know I don’t take you for granted!

Till next time… Toodles!

    1. Lol! My friends practically dragged me there! I fell asleep during the movie! 😂 also, there’s a movie coming out, Book Club I think it’s called, and it shows women reading the book. As if three movies weren’t enough… 😂😂
