Weekly Wrap Up (21st-27th of May) ~ Work, writing, family moments & new projects!

Hello awesome creatures and welcome back to the last weekly wrap up for the month of May! 💜

If last week was busy, wait till I tell you everything that happened during this week, as I had pretty much zero sleep, many cups of coffee every day, a lot of work and many creative hours during the day.

So, without further ado, let’s get to the wrap up!

As per usual, Monday was kinda dull, as it was basically packed with work at the office, tutoring classes and just an hour of writing, as I was so tired that I couldn’t even keep my eyes open to read my books.

Tuesday was equally busy at the office, but as we started talking about some new projects and some new professional steps (stay tuned about that, dearies), it was much better than the beginning of the week.

And that’s partly because I managed to work more on my current writing project, I worked on my ACOFAS review and my Most Anticipated Releases for the second half of 2018, I started reading a new e-book I received from NetGalley, Fawkes, by Nadine Brandes, and I had my manicure-pedicure appointment.

And let me tell you, this was the most relaxing two hours I had in a very long time!

Also, as A Court of Frost and Starlight was the coolest book I read during those last few months, I also ordered the limited edition of the ACOTAR collection of candles, by Book and Nook.

I absolutely love this company’s candles, and those particular ones seem to be AMAZING!

Wednesday came and it was such an awful day right from its start that I was praying it would finish as fast as possible!

My temp job has become a nightmare and so I decided to quit, especially since I have been working on two new projects during the past couple of months, my full time job is very demanding and I will start sending queries to literary agents next month (aka next week 😋).

So the highlight of Wednesday was that I received two rough drafts for beta reading and I took the final pic for FairyLoot’s photo challenge.

Oh! I almost forgot! I had two dance showcases on Wednesday, which improved at least the end of my day, as I spent a fair amount of time with Apo, and we were both doing what we love: we danced like nobody was watching!

On Thursday, I finally managed to finish the contemporary/psychology book I’ve been reading and so you’ll be able to read my review about it this Thursday, and I also went for coffee and dinner with Apo after work, as Thursday was calmer compared to the other days and so we managed to find some time for ourselves.

Daily routines can become a nightmare sometimes… Lately, we only manage to see each other in the evening, but this will hopefully change by the end of June, when we’ll both be cooler and not that busy with work.

Friday was also kind of plain compared to the other days of the week.

I started working on my May Wrap Up post, I went to the hairdresser’s to cut my hair and I edited a few chapters of my writing project, as I have finally finished the first draft and now I need to start polishing and editing!

And then the weekend came… And it was a blast!

On Saturday, I was at work since 4pm and then I had to get ready for my cousin’s wedding.

And if you’re aware of what’s going on, not only in Greece, but in the entire world, the weather has gone CRAZY!

One minute it was warm and sunny, and the next, this happened…

But here in Greece we say that if it rains on a couple’s wedding day, then they will live really happy during their marriage!

I hope they do!

The wedding ceremony was beautiful and the party afterwards really fun!

I absolutely adore those precious, family moments! Don’t you?

And finally on Sunday, after a major hangover, I had to go to my hairdresser (again) at 9am because we had my niece’s Christening.

Not only I had to get ready for the ceremony, but I also had to decorate the church with Mom.

I really hope everyone liked the result!

What do you guys think?

So, that was my week in highlights.

Too much work, a bit of writing and not too much reading, probably because the books I’ve been reading haven’t intrigued me as much as I was hoping to.

Hopefully, this will change. 🤞🏻

I hope you guys enjoyed this post!

Please, let me know if you like those weekly wrap ups and if you’d like me to keep writing them.

Would you like me to focus more of my writing/reading routines or you also like to read about my daily routines?

Thank you all for being here once again! It means the world and I most certainly don’t take your presence here for granted!

Till next time… Toodles! 😘
